Shipping & Return Policies

FREE SHIPPING DOES NOT APPLY TO BIKE'S, SKI'S OR BOOTS

Sale Item Returns 25% or Over.

No refunds on any sale items discounted at 25% and over. This means that any item purchased that is on sale for equal to or more than 25% Skookum Gear will not issue a refund. Any items that are sent back to Skookum will be sent back to the customer at his own expense. These are 'Final Sale items'.

  • Free shipping on orders of $200 or more, before taxes, to BC

  • Free shipping on orders of $200 or more, before taxes, to MB, ON & QC
  • Free shipping on orders of $200 or more, before taxes, to Atlantic Canada
  • Offer limited to web and telephone orders shipped via Canada Post Service within Canada.
  • Your order must meet shipper’s maximum size and weight requirements. Oversize items, such as bikes, skis and bike parts will not qualify for free shipping.
  • Hazardous goods shipments are not eligible for free shipping.

Orders under the above minimums will be shipped via Canada Post with cost based on dimensions and weight of your order.  These charges will be calculated at the time of your order on our website. Minimum shipping charge is $5. Shipping does not include optional loss/damage insurance, which is available for an additional charge.

In-Store Pickup

We will email you when your order is ready for pickup and you will need to bring picture ID to collect your order. For more information on the status of an in-store pickup order, please contact Skookum Revelstoke Bike & Ski directly.

Fast Delivery

Our goal is to get you your product as quickly as possible and ship all orders from our location within two to five business days. If you need your order to arrive by a specific date, please call (250) 814-0090, prior to ordering and paying online and speak with a customer service representative. There may be additional costs incurred in such cases and we will notify you if that is the case.

Tracking Numbers

A Tracking Number will be emailed to you once your order has been shipped. To track your package, please visit Canada Post and enter the tracking number that was emailed to you. Once your order is shipped, Canada Post will do everything they can to deliver it to you on time. In the event of a delayed delivery, you may contact Canada Post directly.

Shipping Within Canada

Orders are sent via Canada Post Ground Service, unless otherwise specified. Optional shipping insurance is available (contact us prior to purchasing to get a quote for the cost of insurance). Applicable provincial and federal taxes are applied when your order is processed according to where the item will be shipped. Orders are shipped from Revelstoke, BC and take one to two business days to process, in addition to Canada Post's delivery time. Isolated and rural areas may take longer.

Shipping to USA

No free shipping to USA.  Custom Fees applicable and it is the buyer responsibilities to pay for Duties and Taxes relative to parcel details and address information.  Orders are sent via Canada Post Ground Service, unless otherwise specified. Optional shipping insurance is available (contact us prior to purchasing to get a quote for the cost of insurance). BC provincial and federal taxes are applied when your order is processed. Orders are shipped from Revelstoke, BC and take one to two business days to process, in addition to Canada Post's delivery time.

P.O. Boxes

All orders being delivered to a P.O. Box will be shipped via Canada Post.  If you don’t have a physical street address or require your purchase to be shipped to a P.O. box, please call us at (250) 814 0090, before placing and paying for your order online.

Refused Shipments
All shipments refused by the buyer will be charged a 25% restocking fee plus all related shipping charges.

Taxes

If an order is shipped to the following provinces or territories, Skookum Revelstoke Bike & Ski must collect the applicable taxes as described:

Canadian taxes are not collected on orders shipped outside of Canada. However, orders shipped outside of Canada are subject to import duties, taxes, and customs processing fees, which are levied once the package reaches its destination. These fees are collected by the carrier or brokerage company and customers are responsible for paying them. Skookum Revelstoke Bike & Ski is unable to give estimates for these fees. Please contact your local customs office or broker for more information.

Returns

No refunds after 30 days from date of purchase. Returns after 30 days are at management discretion and refund will be in form of credit on account or money back If item is in its original condition and all tags intact.  Returns of special order/non-stock items and sale items are at management discretion and may be subject to applicable restocking fees.

To Return your product for refund, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs.  Shipping Costs are non-refundable.  If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.  We don't guarantee we will receive your returned items. 

Any Returned items must be in its original condition, and all tags needs to be intact.  Once your return is received and inspected we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.  If you are approved then your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.  Please allow for a period up to 14 days for us to process the refund.
